I can’t explain it. It’s just a talent I’ve had since birth. I can make people…you know it when you hear it. Koff! Koff!! Aaaack! I make people cough. But that isn’t my real talent. A cough is just a cough. Who cares, right? My real talent has nothing to do with the person I make cough. It’s the fear I instill in everyone around them. You ever been in a crowded room and somebody coughs? You see the panic set in? All the eyes darting around the room. Everybody wondering, “What’s she got?” “Can I get it?” “Is it catching?” They hold their breaths. They run for the exits. They pull their clothing over their faces. They sit staring and wondering… “Is she gonna cough again?” But I gotta time it just right. I let a few minutes go by. People think it was a one-time thing and they’re safe. People think someone just swallowed wrong. Then I hit them with a another. And another. And three short ones in a row. And a long choking one that lasts for ten seconds. Ohhhhhhh yeaaaaaaah. Anyone else just get goosebumps?
